What a joy it was to see parents enjoying the Art Exhibition at the DIS Art Lab!
Our talented students showcased their incredible creativity and hard work through stunning pieces featuring textures, handmade Christmas wreaths, and festive Christmas cards.
The room was filled with smiles, admiration, and holiday spirit as families celebrated the artistic talents of our young creators.
This quarter, our ES (Elementary School) art students focused on creating 3D texture projects inspired by trees and leaves.
They explored a variety of materials to develop textures that reflect the natural qualities of these elements.
Engaging discussions in class helped students understand how texture enhances the visual impact of art, encouraging them to ask thoughtful questions about their own work and that of their peers.
In our MS (Middle School) art class, students delved deeper into the concept of texture and its role in adding multiple perspectives to artwork.
They experimented with diverse materials and techniques, learning how textures can influence the viewer's experience and interpretation.
A big thank you to our dedicated art teacher for guiding the students and making this event so special!
